Solely designed and shipped HCL Software's first-ever open-source product — a VS Code extension that detects security vulnerabilities in real time during development. Pioneered the open-source initiative for the entire R&D division, setting the precedent for subsequent open-source releases.
Designed and delivered an end-to-end volume-based pricing platform for PayPal and Braintree merchants — spanning the data layer, application APIs, and real-time batch processing. Built BigQuery pipelines and scheduled workflows that aggregate millions of transaction records daily, with robust error handling and reconciliation logic to recover missed records in subsequent runs. Took an ambiguous brief and turned it into a production system. Defined the technical approach independently, presented architecture to PayPal's Architecture Review Group, led the team through delivery, and authored the org-wide engineering guideline that codified the pattern for future teams. Reduced manual onboarding effort by 95%.
Spotted a recurring compliance gap across PayPal's pricing workflows and — without a formal mandate — proposed, architected, and delivered a generalized Maker-Checker review framework. Drove adoption through presentations and integration guides; now used org-wide as the standard approval layer for all pricing updates.
